Established in 2008 by Ian, GeoRadar Australia has remained a family-owned and operated underground asset management, vacuum excavation and non-destructive testing company with locations in Bundaberg, Rockhampton and Emerald, Queensland. In 2018, Jim officially took the reins purchasing the company from Ian and to this day continues to use his drive and motivation to expand and explore other areas within the industry. We continue to provide underground cable locating and hydro excavation services across the Wide Bay regions. Our team can locate and identify underground cables, pipes, voids and assets in real-time.

GeoRadar Australia participated in the Central Highlands Business Excellence Awards in 2013, 2015 and 2017. Winning & taking out the Professional Services Sector Award three years in a row, in 2017 we were then inducted into the Central Highlands Hall of Fame, being one of the first to achieve this award. This invaluable achievement is reflected upon highly within our company.

Notable Projects

Since commencing operation in 2008, GeoRadar continues to go from strength to strength and continues to assist in many projects across the sunshine state. We still support our local councils and Utility companies along with many Government and Civil departments in identifying services within project areas. This ultimately helps achieve accurate plans before the Design and Construction commences which in turn can help avoid costly asset relocations throughout the entire project.
